chekhov:

Every musical should have one minor character who is aware that everyone is singing and dancing and extremely confused and terrified

Avengers! Assemble!

Saw the Avengers (in a Superman shirt so I could freak the comic book lovers out) and I have many thoughts.

Firstly this movie is absolutely one hundred percent pure awesome. I found myself both laughing and being enthralled by everything I was seeing.

The bickering and general conversation between all the characters is witty and really captures what it would be like if a group of vastly different personalities were forced to work together to save the world.

Whilst Tony Stark is definitely the show stealer with his banter and catchy one liners, I found myself being more interested in Bruce Banner and to a lesser extent Steve Rogers, who were both suffering from their own personal issues. This added another level to the story and propelled it beyond a stereotypical action flick, with the story spending equal time on all the heroes and their respective roles in the narrative.

I do have to admit that I haven’t seen any of the superhero films or read the comics but even from this naive viewpoint I found myself following the story coherently.

EVERYONE MUST MAKE IT THEIR ULTIMATE GOAL TO SEE THIS FILM

and with that, I am done.

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

First world problems

Enjoying Tumblr at 12am because my computer is being typically unenthusiastic about loading it properly any other time
